+ Why should I join Realty Dream Makers and what are some of the benefits?
First of all you should join Realty Dream Makers because there is a reason you made it to the questions on this page.
Second, we listen to our agents and treat everyone like family and strive to have a close knit environment. We care about the well being of our Agents before everything else.
Third, we believe in building meaningful long lasting relationships which leads to trust, loyalty and mutual respect for each other. It is the most important benefit we offer. We are competitive with other companies in the industry, but are open to different trends and changes within the real estate industry.
+ How do I go about placing my license with Realty Dream Makers?
It's very easy to place your license with us, all you have to do is fill out the form on our sign up page at http://www.realtydreammakers.com/Sign-Up.html, hit the submit button and you will be taken to a page with all the forms and information you need to place your license with us.
+ How soon will I be able to start working as a Realty Dream Makers Agent?
You can be up and running in as soon a one business day. If you start out taking care of all your paperwork around 8:00 am you could be finished by the time you go to lunch.
Please give us time to go over the paperwork and make sure all the I's or dotted and T's are crossed. If you do not receive a response from us within a 24 hour time frame, feel free to call us at 832-738-4370 x 1000 and leave us a voicemail. The voicemail will be text to us and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Questions on communicating with us:
+ Will Realty Dream Makers promise me the world, but then drop me in the grease to ffm (fend for myself)? How do I get support for questions I may have?
You will not be dropped in the grease to fend for yourself and we promise, you will be able to get your important questions answered. You will be able to receive broker support via our online gated community forums, by phone, email, text message, hand written letter etc...
It is very important for Agents to feel they are working with someone that will partner with them to be successful and support them along the way. We will try our best to make you feel comfortable and apart of our company.
+ Are there any requirements to attend company meetings?
We do not require you to come to any meetings. You are an Independent contractor and we can not mandate you come to any meetings. However, we will send you an email from time to time alerting you about what's going on in the industry, market updates or changes you need to be aware of.
It is totally up to you whether or not you want to come to our meetings. You will be able to attend our meetings from the privacy of your own home and access the information 24/7 over and over until you get tired of seeing it.
+ Do you offer training and how do I go about receiving the training?
Yes, we offer training, however, it will not be in person. We use our online community for all of our training purposes.
We believe in systems and that systems are like principles, they last the test of time. We use systems for buyers, sellers and marketing. You will receive training on traditional offline marketing as well as online marketing. We continually study the internet and how to market to buyers and sellers over the Internet.
Questions on doing business with us:
+ First of all, how do I get paid?
You will get paid on the successful closing and funding of your real estate transaction. We will submit your CDA (Commission Disbursement Agreement) to the Title Company and your check will written directly to you.
All paperwork on your file must be delivered to the office via email, fax or mail prior to us signing the CDA. We will need time to go over the file and place it in our records. We recommend getting your paperwork in at least one business day prior to closing, but we have been known to get CDA's over to Title companies on short notice.
We are flexible and try our best to serve our agents.
+ What commission plans do you offer and how much are your fees?
We offer a 100% commission plan and other plans that are competitive with industry trends, however, we do not believe Agents work with us based on the commission plans offered.
Our current agents are with us because of the relationships we have built over the years. There are 100% shops on every corner now and agents are aware of that. They move from one company to the next due to various reasons.
It's not always about the money. If all we wanted was your money, we would have huge commission splits and offer you everything under the Sun.
+ Does Realty Dream Makers require a minimum commission on transactions?
We do not require minimum commissions on your transactions. You will have full autonomy over your commissions negotiated. It's your money, you are free to make as much or as little as you choose.
Don't short change yourself!
+ Does Realty Dream Makers offer signage to it's Agents or will I have to purchase my own?
We will provide you with 2 yard signs initially. The signs are generic with the company logo, and website information. It is up to you to get sign riders with your name and contact information on it.
We have affordable resources for you to obtain additional customized yard signs with your name, number, email, website etc... on it to get all of your property leads.
+ Do you offer agents a free website or will I have to purchase my own site?
The Broker of Realty Dream Makers is the webmaster of this site and will offer an optional customized website. However, we encourage agents to become internet savvy and to have their own website so they may keep it whether they remain with us, start their own company or move to another company.
We want to have tech savvy agents and strive to become more internet savvy as a company. Our online community will provide step-by-step instructions on registering domain names and getting a website up and running.
Having a functional lead producing web presence is essential for agents to reach a portion of the 85% of buyers who search the internet first before contacting Agents.
+ Your "About us" page states that you are a residential brokerage. Will I be able to participate in commercial real estate?
We specialize and prefer to participate in residential sales, however, we are open to commercial real estate endeavors. Our expertise is in residential, but if you have specialized training in commercial real estate we welcome the opportunity to work with you.
+ Do you have a company policy?
Yes, we have a company policy for our Agents outlining guidelines on how to operate in real estate transactions. We will make the company policy available to you after joining Realty Dream Makers.
The company policy is simple and outlines the laws, rules and acts that should be followed by agents to limit liability and service client's with professionalism.
